Samsung Galaxy Fold

South Korean company Samsung is known worldwide for its innovation and new technology.  Samsung has used many innovative technologies like Infinity Display, Curved Display for its smartphones.  At the Mobile World Congress held in February this year, the company showcased the new Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone with innovative technology.  The company has established new dimensions by introducing the world's first folding display technology.  After this, many other companies also showcased their foldable screens, but in terms of display technology, Samsung once again proved that it is at the forefront.  Today, the smartphone that I have come up with review is that of Samsung's Galaxy Fold smartphone with the same innovative technology.

If you do not know about Samsung Galaxy Fold, then let me tell you that it was launched in July after being introduced in February, but it was relaunched after a complaint in its foldable screen.  The re-launched Samsung Galaxy Fold's foldable screen has now been made even more protective.  It has recently been launched in India.  In addition to having a foldable screen, this smartphone has been given many special features, which makes it a premium device.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Design

Samsung Galaxy Fold is quite different from other smartphones in terms of design.  It has two screens, one screen which appears after the phone is folded, while the other screen appears after the fold is opened.  The screen which appears after the folding of the phone is small in screen size and serves as the main screen.  That is, in standby mode you will see this screen upwards.  You will also use this screen for calling, folding the phone.  The design of the phone is quite attractive and you can experience the inclusion of new technology in it.  The phone looks thin and long when it is folded, while you can use it as a tab by opening its fold.

Samsung Galaxy Fold has a 7.3-inch dynamic AMOLED foldable display with Infinity Flex design.  Its foldable mechanism and hinge have been tested more than 2 lakh times.  That is, the risk of breaking its foldable screen is very low.  You do not have to work too hard to fold and unfold the display.  You can fold and unfold it with Delicate Touch.  This process works very smooth.  The new screen material technology has been used in its foldable display.  Multilayer screens have been used to create the flexibility of the foldable display.

Talking about the color appearance of the display, the HDR 10+ color contrast is available in its dynamic AMOLED display, which corrects the screen-to-screen color due to the dynamic tone mapping.  That is, you can stream high quality video in its rear and secondary display.  Taking care of the eyes of the users in the display, Blue Lide Reduction Technology has also been used, which filters its harmful blue rays and reaches your eyes.  Now let's talk about the hinge providing flexibility to its foldable display.  Multiple interlocking has been used in the folding hinge, which helps Samsung Galaxy Fold to fold and unfold.

Triple rear camera sensor has been given in the back of the Samsung Galaxy Fold.  The secondary display has a dual selfie camera, while its main screen or front screen has a single selfie camera.  The SIM card slot is given in the left side of the phone.  At the same time, it has a power button, volume rockers and side mounted fingerprint sensor on the right.  The phone has a USB Type C connectivity port.  It does not come with a 3.5mm audio jack, so users may be a bit disappointed, but the company is offering Galaxy Buds wireless headphones with its box.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Performance

In terms of phone performance, I also liked it.  It has 12GB RAM, which can be said to be the best for multi-tasking.  Whether you use its front screen or rear screen or foldable screen, no matter how many apps you open, it works smoothly.  The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset processor has been used in Samsung Galaxy Fold.  This processor is seen in all the premium Android smartphones of this year.  512GB of internal storage is provided in the phone.Due to the better processor and RAM, you can use it like a laptop on the go.  Galaxy Fold runs on OneUI operating system.  It uses an operating system based on Android 9 Pie.  Soon you can see the OneUI 2.0 operating sysetem based on Android 10.  The company recently showcased this operating system.
One more thing that I liked about Samsung Galaxy Fold is that it has a side bar in its rear screen.  As soon as you open the side bar, you can see the quick apps in it.  If you want, you can arrange this system tray accordingly.  In the system tray, you can place the apps of your choice.  If you open an app on the front screen, then you can access it without interruption on its secondary or foldable screen.  That is, if you unfold the phone, the app will not be closed in it.

Dual battery technology has been used in Samsung Galaxy Fold, due to which you can use it for a long time.  It has a battery of 4,830 mAh and supports reversible wireless charging.  With this smartphone you can also charge any other smartphone with wireless charging support.  For this, you have to turn on the power sharing of the phone.  Apart from this, you can also charge wearable devices, such as Galaxy Buds or Watch.Talking about the overall experience, if you are a power user and want to experience the latest technology, then you would like to buy it.  It costs Rs 1,64,999, which is not affordable for the general smartphone user.  This is an ultra premium smartphone, which premium users and technology lovers would prefer to use.  Due to the phone innovative technology, users will like it a lot.  So I would prefer to call it a 'premium' smartphone of premium users.
